What Are the Differences Between the
Winter and Summer Sessions?
Trading hours vary between winter and summer just like they vary between the hours of daylight and the seasons. Of course, to make calculated decisions while trading, you need to stay aware of the differences of the trading sessions according to your region. At Astronix Fund we use GMT +3 in the summer sessions and GMT +2 in the winter sessions, so make sure you take that into account!

- Tokyo: 12 am – 9 am
- London: 8 am – 4 pm
- New York: 1 pm – 10 pm
- Australia: 9 pm – 6 am

With the start of the trading day and in the first few hours of market open, movements tend to be calmer than usual. When the Tokyo and London market sessions start, though, movements tend to become more sizable.
